I just went through a very intense revision on The Seven Tales of Trinket and while I was adding the finishing touches, it really helped me to make such a list.
So, here it is:
*a quest for tales and truths
*a girl with the blood of a teller in her veins
*a pig boy
*the seventh daughter of a seventh daughter
*magical sealskins
*a ghostly child with long white hair
*a harp made of a whale bone, strung with a long, golden hair
*a coin for bargaining
*a brave hound
*a highwayman
*a man in a smoke grey cloak
*and a haunting lullaby that binds everything together
So, there's my love list. I highly recommend trying this. It really helped me focus. If you try one for your WIP, let me know. I'd love to read it!

It's funny how key words like that give a good impression of the story! Sounds like fun. I'm going to have to try it, don't know if I'll blog about it though!
I'm in love with your list and can't wait to read Seven Tales of Trinket, which sounds full of the best magic!
The Love List is great advice, too, to help us keep writing and revising during the Dark Times.
What a great idea! And WOW! And I can tell I'd love your story!! Sounds magical and unique!!
Oooo, your story sounds so neat!
And yes, I loved that post as well. I need to do it myself.
You have a selkie in your book? Awesome! I'd never heard of selkies before two years ago and now I've heard of them quite a bit.
I like the idea of a love list... especially after a revision. Revisions can sometimes kill the love.
Love the love list! I want to read THE SEVEN TALES OF TRINKET! :)
Have a great weekend!
That list made me even more eager to read Trinket! Great list!
I love your love list, especially the "seventh daughter of a seventh daughter."
Oh, I can't wait to read this book! What an awesome list!
Your book sounds so fun! I need to try this too. When I'm revising all the hard work and brain drain makes it hard to remember why I ever loved the story!
Laura-Come on! Blog about it! (I am curious....)
Tricia-Ah...the Dark Times. (Also known as anything dealing with revising my stuff!) Maybe you will get a chance to read it soon....
Kelly-Thanks so much. Magical and Unique and about the two best words I can think of.
Renee-It realllllllly helped me get excited again. DO IT!
Wendy-Yes.....a selkie of sorts (maybe more than one). And yes, sometimes the love does get killed and we have to revive it one way or another.
Dawn-Thanks. I even have favorite bits among the list, but that is for another day.
Sherrie-Thanks. One more read today and then maybe I can ship it off. Yay!
Myrna-Thank you! The seventh daughter of the seventh daughter is named Feather, in case you are wondering.
Corey-I can't wait until it is done either!
Natalie-I wish I could say I made up the idea myself, but alas....stolen!
What an eclectic and fascinating list! Much love I sense from you to your book.
*Yoda, have you been taking over my brain again?*
I think I need to go show my books some love now. Poor things, all the pushing and high expectations without knowing any love.
