Things I Love Right Now

1. Driving by a car that has a dog hanging out of the window, ears flapping in the wind.

2. A baguette with melted Dubliner cheese, Granny Smith apple slices, a bit of brown sugar and a smidge of cinnamon. Yum.

3. Blackberries and sliced strawberries.

4. Heirloom tomatoes.

5. Monday evenings (far, far better than Monday mornings.)

6. Teachers who don't assign too much homework.

7. My cheapo green writing desk. (It is a Goldilocks desk...not too big or too small.)

8. Page 244 of line-edits (there are no corrections/changes/questions on this page!)

9. When one of my kids charges my phone for me, knowing I'll forget to do it myself.

10. Libraries that arrange for me to visit them (thank you! You know who you are!)

11. The Good Knight Theme, which I will be sharing with you soon. Yes! the GK has his own theme song, composed, played, recorded and all that just for him (and the dragons, too!)

12. Parentheses (obviously).

Loving something right now?

I'm loving your No. 2. Yum, that sounds good. I've been hung up on brie on fresh, hot bread recently.

#9 - now that's love.

I'm loving playing outside with my kids, and I'm loving the first draft I've been writing.

Nothing goes together quite like apples and cheese. Right now I'm loving golden delicious on an olive oil and rosemary pizza, with Feta or Gorgonzola.

#1 always brings a smile. I'm loving all the little chirpy birds flitting back to our yard after their winter break.

I love it when my son makes his baby sister laugh. And I have a baguette downstairs, but no cheese. Darn.

Everyone of your food items is okay in my book. And in my stomach, too.

Banana Bread. The kids are SUPPOSED to be sleeping, but since they are not the banana bread is making me happy. That, and peeking at my favorite blogs!

Hmmm. Wonder why I'm suddenly hungry?

I've with you on #6. Especially since I have three kids. I don't know how parents do it when they have more than that.

A tall glass of water when I'm thirsty. With the warmer weather rolling in, it's especially nice.

I love nice bread and really nice cheese. YUM! I'm loving my going to be 15 year old daughter tomorrow....bless her heart all she can come up with that she wants is some new fingernail polish...

Congrats on page 244. :)

Since this past Monday morning I slipped on a patch of black ice right outside my front door and ended up with three stitches on my elbow joint and a tetanus shot in my shoulder, I totally agree with you about Monday evenings vs. mornings. At least wine can be involved in the evenings.

I loved reading this list. I'm totally with you on #1 and I adore baguettes.

ha! loved this post. We used to call our cocker 'flying wombat doggie' when she would hang her head out the window. The dog I have now ( a cockapoo) would NEVER hang her head out - doesn't like wind in her face. whatever. but she can fetch a tennis ball like nobody's business.

I love your list- especially the random things like dogs in the window (for me it's cats in a house window). And Parentheses!

Sorry -- I'd leave a comment but suddenly I have a strong craving for cheese fondue with Granny Smith apple chunks. Can't imagine where that came from.
