But Wait! There's More....

Here is the next installment of Story Time with the StoryQueen.  In addition to placing them on my video page (www.shelleymoorethomas.blogspot.com) they are also on my youtube storytime channel.  If you type in hrhstoryqueen on youtube  or (click here) the videos will come up.

Some things about this particular adventure in filming:

1.  I used Cali's room because of all the color.  We had thought we might do it outside, but too much wind (and wet grass from earlier rain) made it not seem like such a good idea.

2.  Mikey the Dog cannot deal with my puppet voices!  Every time he hears them, he shows up and wants to eat the puppets.  (Please don't worry about the Old Wizard.  I wiped the slobber off with my cape.)

3.  My daughter (Noel), has a pretty steady hand, considering a dog was crawling all over her half of the time.

4.  This story was inspired by Isabelle not wanting to take her pink eye medication and my trying to tell her that she was being a big baby.  I tried to show her the the ointment wasn't going to hurt by trying it myself.  Um. Yeah.

Enjoy!

P.S.  Penguin is re-releasing this title (and Good Night, Good Knight) as part of a new easy-reader program! Yay!!

Hahaha, I love that it started with you trying to show Noel how it was done.

How AWESOME that they're going to be early readers!!!!!! So exciting!

These book videos you've done are so cute. I can see why these books are so popular with kids.

CONGRATS on Penguin re-releasing the two titles as easy readers! Too cool!

These are the best! You do great voices, which are so important to listeners. Love the set-up, love the puppets, love the story, love it all :) Thanks so much for sharing this. For some reason I can't get it to fill my screen, but I'll be trying again!

Catherine-Yes! I am super excited. I mean, it's been in print for 12 years!! and now it's getting a new cover design and even more kids will get to read it.

Susanne-thank you. I think they are silly and dorky, but I am glad I am doing it. Kind of sorry I didn't do it when I was younger...and less wrinkly!

Murugi-Welcome! Feel free to stop by anytime!

Jess-You are too kind. (And you probably don't want a whole screen full of me. Seriously.)

Shannon-Thank you. First one re-releases this Fall.

Tricia-That dog!! I cannot believe him. He was crawling all over Noel in the middle of the story (that was the part where the camera jerked around a bit.) He is such a doofus. But we do love him.

Sharon-Yay! I will pop over and pick up my prize!

Laura-You are nice to say so, even though I annoy the heck out of myself most of the time.
