Things I Might Have Done This Week

1.  I might have ordered an In-N-Out burger without the spread.  And I just might have liked it.

2.  I might have finished all of the edits I needed to for a while, which means I might get to work on my WIP.

3.  I might be totally afraid to open the document.  (Of course this means I haven't opened it...what if it is lame???)

4.  I might have encouraged my students to make origami hats out of a math page that made no sense. (Not sayin' I did, just sayin' I might have. Besides, there are better ways to assess mathematical knowledge than worksheets.  Everyone knows that.)

5.  I might have forgotten to do laundry.  (Okay, I did.  I'll just admit it.)

6.  I might have sorted my class into Hogwarts' Houses (then switched the houses to Star Wars ships, just to change things up a bit.)

7.  I might have gotten to see a draft of my cover for The Seven Tales of Trinket.  It might be totally awesome.  (Actually, it IS totally awesome.)

Woot! It sounds like a great week.

I'm going to think of ways to divide my class into Hogwarts groups. High school students still love Harry Potter!

And I love the idea of oragami worksheet hats. Definitely a good use of worksheets!

Ha! That is such a GREAT way to use those kind of worksheets. It sounds like you had a fabulous week. I feel the same way about opening my Star Swans document. Can't wait to see your cover and read the story!

Congrats on the cover (and on being a way cool teacher who sorts her students into houses and ships)! I've been hearing about these In-and-Out burgers for years~ I will be sorely disappointed if one doesn't find its way into my mouth before I kick the bucket :)

I'm so jealous of the burger. IF you really had one.

And WE WANNA see #7! :)

Ooh! I want to be a student in your class, but only if I actually get to be sorted into a Hogwarts House/Star Wars ship and I actually get to turn my math sheets into origami masterpieces!

What an exciting week! No laundry and you get to see the cover of your latest book? Color me jealous! ;)

Wow, I wish I'd had a teacher like you. Origami hats out of math worksheets? Being sorted into Hogwarts houses or Star Wars ships? You rock!

Can't wait to see your cover and of course to read the book!

Laura-There are a few changes that have to be made, but I was shocked I got to see it already!

Stephanie-There is a lot to be learned from the Hogwarts method of education.

Myrna-I opened it and I really liked it! Whew!

Jess-Believe all that you have heard--except for the part about the spread. I used to like it, but now I'm kind of over it.

Tricia-I KNOW! It's not what I expected, but it is perfect nonetheless.

Karen-When it's done for real, I will probably get to show it.

Nisa-The bad thing about the lack of laundry was the limit on what could be worn:(

MG-It will be worth the wait.

Stina-I can't wait to show it!

Joanne-Thank you! I am quite excited.

Kelly-Shhh---I don't have a Slytherin house. Didn't want to encourage sneakiness.

Tess-Well, I am giddy about With a Name Like Love as well!

Christina-I know! Double Yay!

Kiki-I don't know who does laundry, I only know that I don't. (Well, at least not enough!)
