Things I Love Right Now

1.  I am in love the with art work of Mary Blair.  She is the Disney artist who designed It's a Small World.  She also worked on Peter Pan, Alice and Wonderland and many others.  I just love her style and use of color.

I bought a print of one of her paintings recently.  *love*

2.  I love that it is now the Year of the Dragon!  (I have this thing for dragons....)
This is my puppet, baby dragon.  He is very excited that it is his year.

3.  I love Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Truffles.  They are heart-shaped and the outer chocolate makes a lovely snapping sound when you bite into it.  The inner chocolate stuff is smooth and creamy.  I am sorry that no one else in my area will get to have any since I bought All Of Them.

4.  I love the students and staff of Mission Meadows Elementary for having me at their bookfair/pajama party last Friday evening at Barnes and Noble.  What a fun night!  It is always lovely to be met with such an excited crowd.  I felt like a rockstar.

5.  I love that February has the decency to be the shortest month.  I am going to be honest here--not my favorite month.  But at least it is short.  And before we know it, it will be March.  Which.I.Love!!

So, what do you love?

You made your baby dragon come alive saying he was excited about his year. :)

I'm loving my feather pillow, over-the-knee socks, and watching Sense and Sensibility again.

I love Trader Joe's--I wish we had one in Alaska!

I'm loving planting seeds (my lavender and beans are sprouting), hugs from my daughter, and starting a new book.

And my slippers. I love warm feet!

I love OKAY FOR NOW (which I just finished), chocolate shortbread cookies with iced tea, and the way I feel after I've met my writing goals for the day.

I agree with your about February! Except this is a leap year and there's an extra day. Oi! But I love it that even with the extra day it's still a short month!

Actually, I do love a few things about February, such as all the chocolate on display for me to buy and eat! And it's my hubby's birthday (on Valentines Day!) who I love and am so thankful he was born. :)

I bought myself a red little dragon ornament for Christmas. It hangs over my computer table. :D
Begone, February! May March be fantastic.

Hi, I just came over from Matt MacNish's blog and I thought, 'hey, I know this author!' My daughter just read Good Night Good Knight after our librarian recommended it. She loved it! I'm glad I found your blog. :)

I agree with you about the artwork and, of course, anything chocolate. :) I love my student teacher right now!

I need to go to a Trader Joe's. There's one about 20 minutes from me and I've never been!

Hurray for school visits! I bet the kids LOVED you!

I love my son's newly decorated room! (Star Wars- He has a tiefighter quilt and a Millenium Falcon fathead on the wall and of course all of his Legos.)
We were going to go see Phantom Menace 3D tonight, but it's snowing hard and roads are horrible so we will watch a SW Blue Ray instead at home.
